I ordered a range hood from prolinerangehoods.com, i was let down once it showed up. The metal felt thinner than I expected, some of the edges were rough, and after only using it a few times, the fan started making this weird rattling noise.
For what it cost, I really thought it would feel more solid. It looks fine from across the kitchen, but up close it just feels kind of cheap. The whole experience also had that no-real-person-there feeling, like I was just dealing with a website and not an actual company. I wouldn’t buy from them again.

Returns weren’t much better either, with restocking fees and shipping costs on me, so sending it back barely seemed worth it. Customer service kept telling me to read the policy pages, like I was supposed to just sit there and be patient while getting nowhere. Super frustrating experience, and I definitely won’t be using them again.

I was hoping this would look nicer in person, but it feels clunky and kind of outdated once it’s in my kitchen. Not saying it’s a scam, but it definitely doesn’t look as good as I expected from the photos. Disappointed overall.

The instructions were weak, and a few steps didn’t even seem to match what came in the box. Mounting it was awkward, the holes didn’t line up cleanly, and I ended up making two separate trips to the hardware store for small things that really should’ve been included.

It took way longer than I planned, and I eventually had to call someone to come help me finish it. For what this thing costs, I expected the install to be a lot smoother. Definitely not happy with the experience

The price felt way too high for the quality. I was expecting it to feel like a better value, but it just didn’t seem worth the money once I saw it. To make it more frustrating, I found similar range hoods for less elsewhere afterward. I also wasn’t really sure what the next steps were supposed to be if I wanted to question it or return it, which made the whole thing even more annoying.

I wasn’t happy with the customer service at all. Honestly... it just felt like getting help was way harder than it should’ve been.

The hood does its job, I guess, but it is so much louder than I expected. And it’s not even about wanting it to be silent, I know a kitchen fan is going to make some noise. But even on the lower setting, we end up having to talk over it, which gets annoying fast when I’m making dinner. I really wish I had gone with something quieter.
